Dry Weather Returns Friday

Much-needed rain Thursday into early Friday will end by midday Friday, and dry weather arrives to start the weekend.

FRIDAY
Rain showers will end by midday Friday as a storm system moves away from New England. Clouds may be slow to clear during the day. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s. It will be less humid than the last few days. Friday night looks partly cloudy to mainly clear. Lows will be in the mid 50s to low 60s.

SATURDAY
You can expect some sunshine on Saturday morning. Clouds will arrive during the afternoon. Highs will be near 80, and it will not be humid. There will be an afternoon sea breeze that cools the coast. Clouds will thicken Saturday evening, and showers are possible at night. Lows will be in the upper 50s to low 60s.

SUNDAY
It will be somewhat unsettled, but not a washout on Sunday. Skies will be mostly cloudy, and scattered showers are possible throughout the day. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s. The chance of rain diminishes by late Sunday night. Lows will be near 60 early Monday morning.

EARLY NEXT WEEK
We will get back to some sunshine by Monday afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 70s. The weather looks great heading into the midweek. It will be mainly clear, with highs near 80 Tuesday and Wednesday. Lows will be in the mid to upper 50s, and it will not be humid. It will likely get a bit warmer late in the workweek.
