Pro Update – January 21
A major winter storm is closing in on the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast this weekend. The storm will pummel the Mid-Atlantic with heavy snow, damaging wind and coastal flooding. Fred Campagna has the latest on the storm’s impact in Southeastern New England.
Is there something specific that keeps ticking it further south as it gets closer??
Not necessarily, it was always a very close call.
Fred, do you put more weight on the short range models (SREF, NAM, etc.) over the long range (GFS/Euro) when we get this close to storm impact? As a snow lover I’m wish-casting that those models are correct for this one!
