October 29th Update

A relatively wet October continued with a soaking rain storm Thursday night. As the storm intensified on Friday, gusty west-northwest winds ushered in cool air to round out the workweek.

The weekend should be seasonable, with highs in the mid to upper 50s on Saturday under partly to mostly cloudy skies. It will be a breezy day with 15-25 mph west-southwest winds. A stray shower cannot be ruled out, but there is a better chance of dry weather.

Clouds increase during the day on Sunday. Showers are possible in the afternoon and evening as a weak storm system passes by. It will be a mild day with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s. Any showers will end Sunday night. Lows will be in the 30s to low 40s Monday morning.

Halloween looks dry and cool. Highs will be in the low to mid 50s with a northerly breeze. It will be in the mid to upper 40s under mainly clear skies for trick or treating. Tuesday will be dry with highs in the 50s.

We’ll enjoy a warm-up in the middle of next week. There is a good chance that highs will reach the 60s Wednesday and Thursday. Expect sunshine on Wednesday and increasing clouds on Thursday. Some late-week rain is possible next week, with cooler weather over the weekend.
