November 15th Update

Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts received much-needed rain on Tuesday. There was more than an inch of rain in Southeastern New England. Clouds will be stubborn on Wednesday, with the best chance of sunshine in the afternoon. It will be mild with highs in the mid 50s.

Nice weather is ahead for the end of the workweek. Highs will be in the mid 50s to near 60 on Thursday and Friday with plenty of sunshine. Lows will be in the mid 30s to low 40s. An offshore storm may drift close enough to bring some clouds Friday night and Saturday. It will stay relatively mild (the normal high is in the low 50s) with highs in the mid to upper 50s.

The weather takes a turn for the worse late in the weekend. Showers are possible Saturday night into Sunday as a storm system moves into the Northeastern United States. It will be mild early Sunday with cooler weather arriving during the day. While not a washout, showers are possible all day. Temperatures will fall into the low 40s by late Sunday.

The weather looks windy and chilly early next week. Highs will be in the low to mid 40s Monday and Tuesday. The weather looks dry, but mostly cloudy on Monday. There should be more sunshine on Tuesday. Lows will be in the upper 20s to mid 30s.

Looking ahead to the big travel day, Thanksgiving, and Black Friday….dry weather is likely on Wednesday as it stays relatively cool. The forecast for late in the week is unclear, with a storm possible in the Northeast Thursday and/or Friday. There’s a lot of time to fine-tune the forecast, but the pattern looks fairly active at the end of the week. It’s too early to talk specifics, and we’ll keep you posted.
