November 3rd Update

Seasonably cool and quiet weather is ahead for most of the next week. Friday will feature a blend of clouds and sunshine. The wind will be gusty out of the northwest between 10-25 mph. Highs will be in the mid 50s – just about normal for early November.

The wind will diminish Friday night, and the temperature will fall into the low to mid 30s under clear skies. Saturday looks like a decent day. Expect partly sunny skies and highs in the mid 50s. There will be a west-southwest breeze between 5-15 mph. A disturbance moves through Saturday night with some clouds and possibly a stray shower. Lows will be in the upper 30s to low 40s Sunday morning.

Don’t forget to set your clocks back an hour Saturday night. Daylight Saving Time ends, and the sunrise will be at 6:25 am, with sunset at 4:33 pm.

Skies will become partly to mostly cloudy on Sunday. A storm will develop offshore, and a few showers are possible, especially in Eastern MA in the afternoon/evening. Highs will be in the low to mid 50s with a fresh north-northeast breeze. The temperature will dip to near freezing again by dawn on Monday.

Quiet and cool weather continues on Monday. Highs will be in the low 50s with some sunshine and a northerly breeze. It will get a bit milder for Election Day. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50s. A disturbance moving through on Wednesday could bring a few showers, but it does not look like a washout.
