March 24th Update

A generally cool and somewhat unsettled weather pattern will last into the middle of next week, and more rain is possible next weekend. Look for temperatures stuck in the 30s/40s from Friday through at least Monday. Scattered showers are possible Friday afternoon, Saturday, and late Sunday through Monday. The best bet for steady rain into early next week is on Monday afternoon.

Saturday will be cloudy with chilly rain showers possible by midday through the evening. The temperature will fall from the 40s in the morning to the 30s by mid to late afternoon. There will likely be a break in the rain late at night, and the temperature may dip to near freezing by dawn on Sunday. Watch out for a few slick spots inland.

Sunday looks damp and dreary with a northeast breeze that will keep the temperature in the 30s to low 40s. While steady rain is unlikely, there will probably be some showers, drizzle, and mist from time to time.

Expect a period of steadier rain sometime between late Sunday night and Monday afternoon. The temperature will be in the low to mid 40s.

A break in the action is possible in the middle of next week. It will get milder, with highs in the 50s Tuesday through Thursday. The long-range outlook suggests another round of rain early next weekend, most likely on Saturday, April 1 – no fooling!
