Winter likely returns in early February after a few weeks of relatively mild weather to end January. There will be several chances for snow in the next couple of weeks, beginning Monday night as a storm passes by in the Atlantic Ocean. Cape Cod and the islands could pick up several inches of snow, with a better chance of 1-3″ in most of Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts.
