Southern New England saw its share of rain on Wednesday, with Flash Flood Warnings during the afternoon in some Connecticut towns. The shower and storm threat continues tonight as it stays very muggy. There is a lower risk of showers/storms on Thursday and Friday, but a few pop-up showers cannot be ruled out. The weekend looks pleasant and dry with temperatures in the 70s. We’re watching the middle of next week for what’s left of Florence to head our way. That storm has the potential for catastrophic damage in the Southeastern United States. See the Facebook Live video from midday Wednesday for more on that.
