An update on Michael’s track and the potential for heavy rain in a small part of Southern New England. Most of the area should get 0.5-1.0″ rain with showers and t-storms likely Thursday (primarily afternoon and night). It stays very muggy through most of tomorrow night before drier air arrives. Friday looks mainly or all dry in CT, with a chance of showers through midday in RI and SE MA.

A passing shower cannot be ruled out during a very cool Saturday – expect lots of clouds and temps only in the upper 40s to low 50s. That is quite a change from our recent stretch of weather! Sunday looks dry and seasonably cool. The first two ALCS games at Fenway Park will be chilly with temps in the 40s under dry skies.
