A spotty shower is possible late Wednesday ahead of a cold front that brings the coldest weather of the season so far on Thursday. The temperature will tumble into the 30s by dawn on Thursday, with some inland towns not far from freezing. Thursday will only be in the 40s, and it will feel like the 30s all day with a gusty northwest wind. Another freeze is possible inland with frost possible near the coast early Friday.

The best bet for any precipitation this weekend is Saturday with showers around and temps in the 50s to near 60. It turns blustery and cold again on Sunday. Expect more near-freezing temps by early Monday morning.
