December 15 – More rain than snow likely

Good morning! Just a quick update to let you know that I’m expecting mainly or all rain from the Sunday into early Monday storm system. The best chance of any accumulating snow is in the NW hills of CT. There may be patchy freezing rain away from the coast in central and western CT Sunday morning. Otherwise, it looks wet and raw, with the precipitation possibly ending as a bit of snow early Monday. Even if it does, I do not expect it to stick well to pavement with temps above freezing. It will get into the 40s during the day on Monday before a cold blast Monday night. The pavement should have plenty of time to dry before the freezing air arrives Monday night.
