Sunny, Less Humid Wednesday

A cold front will sweep through New England Tuesday night into Wednesday. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible in the evening. There will be fog near the coast. Skies will clear after midnight, and less-humid weather will arrive late at night. It will be mild, with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s Wednesday morning.

Wednesday should feature a lot of sunshine, a southwest breeze, and highs near 80 inland. The wind direction will keep it in the low 70s near the coast. Overall, it will be gorgeous, with less humidity than Tuesday.

The nice weather continues on Thursday. It looks warmer, and a bit muggier, with highs inland in the mid to upper 80s. It will be 10-15° cooler near the coast with an onshore breeze. The workweek will end with more fine weather on Friday. Highs will be in the mid 80s inland, and 70s near the coast as an afternoon sea breeze develops. It will be mostly sunny.

The weekend will get off to a warm and muggy start on Saturday. Lows will be in the 60s, and the temperature could reach the 80s by late in the morning. A cold front will trigger scattered thunderstorms on Saturday as it moves through New England. It’s a little early to say if the action will be in the midday/afternoon or afternoon/evening, but part of the day could be threatened by rain.

The front will be offshore by Sunday morning. The end of the weekend looks nice. You can expect sunshine and highs near 80 on Sunday. Fine weather is likely early next week.
