The National Weather Service has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for most of Southern New England until 2 am Tuesday. The combination of relatively moist/mild air and the fresh snowpack will lead to patchy dense fog that will lower visibility to 1/4 mile or less at times. The low visibility will make driving difficult when combined with the snow piles on the side of the roads and some big puddles left behind by Monday’s rain combined with melting snow. Visibility may improve by dawn Tuesday.
