Hot temperatures and high humidity will once again combine to make it feel like 100°+ in much of inland Southern New England on Friday. The temperature is expected to reach the low to mid 90s with dew point temperatures in the low 70s. When combined, the heat index should top 100°, which could cause heat-related illness in for those sensitive to hot weather. It will not be as brutal near the coast because of a southwesterly wind that will keep the temperature in the 80s.
