The New England Revolution are in the MLS Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2009. A strong finish to the regular season secured a home match vs. Sporting KC in Leg 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinal. The clubs will play a two-game, aggregate (total) goals semifinal series. The first game is Saturday at 8 pm at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA. The weather looks decent for both tailgating and the match. It will not be particularly cold, and the wind does not look like a factor. A cold front will move into Southern New England around midnight. It may kick off scattered rain showers late at night.
