Gorgeous fog shrouds New York City

A shallow layer of fog rolled into New York City early on Wednesday, January 15, 2014. The fog bank was thin enough that many of the city’s skyscrapers towered over the top of it. The fog coincided with a beautiful sunrise and there was no shortage of images sent out on social media of the ethereal landscape. Check them out below.
