The weather pattern late this week is intriguing. Right now, there are no definitive storms in the forecast from Friday to Sunday, but the computer models are hinting at something developing that could bring a minor to moderate snowfall to New England. It’s very early in the game, and we’ll continue to refine that forecast as the week progresses. Early-February is looking a lot like late-January with temperatures averaging colder than normal through the first week or two of the month. The pattern looks fairly active, so there should be at least a couple of shots at snow in Southern New England. Lately, those chances have not amounted to much as January has totaled about 6″ of snow in Providence, but it occurred over four separate events.
